Car Wash 3+1 Promotional Campaign

Brief

The Car Wash 3+1 promotional campaign developed for MOL Romania was designed to increase service usage and boost loyalty activation through the MOL Move app. Built around a simple and highly visible reward mechanism — buy three washes, get one free — the campaign combined strong key visuals, retail POS communication, advertising production and digital campaign integration. The objective was to drive measurable consumer engagement within fuel station environments while reinforcing the MOL loyalty ecosystem.

Challenge

MOL Romania aimed to increase car wash frequency and app adoption within a competitive retail fuel station market. The challenge was to create a clear, benefit-driven promotional campaign that could instantly communicate the “3+1 free” mechanic, stand out in high-traffic environments and integrate seamlessly into both physical POS materials and digital communication channels.

Strategic and Creative Solution

We developed a dynamic key visual centered on motion, water energy and vehicle transformation to visually express the car wash benefit. The design combined bold gradients, fluid water effects and a premium vehicle aesthetic to create immediate impact and service relevance.
The campaign ecosystem included: POS posters, Komatex and in-station print layouts, counter communication, Digital layouts for MOL Move and website integration. The visual language ensured high readability of the 3+1 mechanic while reinforcing MOL’s modern, service-driven positioning.
